if you have insurance through your employer, i am pretty sure that maternity and everything else is covered. when i started my job (where i am at now) i got insurance that next month. then i went on maternity leave 2 months later. in virginia the state law says that if an employer hires you, then you are entitled to insurance which covers maternity (depending on your plan coverage. go with 100/70 for full coverage) i am sure that they cover it, but you have to check with the state laws of florida:
If you have to take leave from your job due to illness, the birth or adoption of a child,
or to care for a seriously ill family member, you may be able to keep your group
health coverage for a limited time. A federal law known as a Family and Medical
Leave Act (FMLA) guarantees you up to 12 weeks of job-protected leave in these
circumstances.
The FMLA applies to you if you work at a company with 50 or more employees.
If you qualify for leave under FMLA, your employer must continue your health
benefits. You will have to continue paying your share of the premium.
another thing, you may need to sit down with your HR and discuss your coverage, and maternity leave.
but also check with the state laws of florida. cause iknow in va you are allowed 12 weeks

If you are talking about the premiums, Probably not. Check your HR policies, it would be spelled out there.
