There are health clinics that if you fill out financial aid papers will determine how much you can pay. Call around. Mine is located next to the health Dept. in Columbia MO 65203. Once a year I have to bring in my ins. papers, if I have ins. and last 2 pay stubs. I go because I like the Doc there. Because of switching jobs, and ins. or no ins, I have had to pay full price when I had a good job and I also didn't have to pay anything when I had no job. I feel guilty about it cause there are needier people than me, so even when they say its free, I pay what I can.
Oh and this is in the USA, other countries have free health care.
I just watched the movie "Sicko" about how people in Canada, Britain and France don't have to pay for their health care. So, I don't know if you'r near those countries or other countries like that, but in the U.S., hospitals have to have signs posted that say you cannot be denied treatment because of lack of health insurance - this has to do with basic patients' rights. It's just a matter of filling out forms to determine how you will pay at some point in the future.
you can go to the clinic and believe me they are very good. if you live in NY you can get healthy new york insurance at a small fee or nothing at all. if you have kids, they get insurance for free. hope you find something.
depends on where you live, like in the northern kentucky near cincinnati, oh there's healthpoint where they go by your income or just call your local health department they should be able ot help you.
