Many, many, many.
With my company, we prefer that you do not make such calls after the first week or two.
Have you considered an office slot? When you hold such a position you maintain an office job and service those who come inside.
Why not mention your state and city? Then people like me could make you an offer.
EDIT: Since you are in the great state of Texas, please contact me if you still are interested in coming into the insurance industry.

Why not work with direct mail leads? These people took the time to fill in their information and are more interested in what your offering. Check out http://www.naawashington.com . Why not spend 90% of your time in front of customers instead of 10% .
