In the state of Ohio can a male/female cohabitating couple carry the other one on their insurance if unmarried

I work for a physician's office and have seen several times lately that same sex couples are on each other's insurance so why wouldn't it work for a heterosexual couple that lives together?

Nope. I am from Ohio and a friend of mine tried to get his fiance on his insurance and was not allowed until they were married. You have to be married to be able to be inclued on your partners insurance.
