Need to find out what kind of moving violations (tickets) I have for insurance.?
Posted on Apr 29, 2008 under Insurance Information |Okay now that my hubby is telling the whole truth about everything My life insurance has asked if I had any moving violations in 5 years and if yes explain,Well I have had like 3 but only one was for speeding I dont remember what the others where for something stupid and not serious I know that.

You can contact your local DMV for a printout I think. Call them and ask.

Depending on your state, you can contact your local DMV. Or in some cases, you can contact your insurance agent (auto insurance) and they will run a report for you, the same one you could get from the DMV. Usually there is a small fee for the report, but it is public domain, and you can just go in and request it. Hope this helps

Go to your local court house, police station or DMV and tell them you need to get your driving history for insurance purposes.
However, every insurance company I've ever dealt with took my drivers license information, and were able to receive that information directly from the DMV themselves. I've never had to locate the information.

The DMV is the easiest place. It's calling a Driving Abstract, usually available for a few dollars depending on the state.
