Do you know of any resources for someone without health insurance or work leave.( for assistance financially.?
Posted on May 27, 2008 under Insurance Information |I am in need of surgery and will be out of work for up to a month. I also do not have health insurance. So will be making small payments probably for a good length of time.
I'm single (no minor children) Work full time, but make enough just to live on. So living a month with little savings is concerning. I know I'll come through but just would love to see if there's any resources, to assist.

Try contacting your local medicaid office. You could also ask if there are any financial assistance programs at the facility where you are receiving your care. Sometimes hospitals, have state representatives that can screen you for medicaid and other programs.

I actually find this a intriguing subject. Never looked at it in this way. If you are going to write some a lot more postings about this topic, I undoubtedly will likely be back in the near future!
