Because companies always find a way to descriminate against someone. If they raised the prices for only blacks it would cause an uproar but because its against teens it makes it ok. Technically this has been taken to court and the teen won because it counted as descrimination YET all the insurance companies did is switch it from a certain age to people have have only had their license for under 3 years THEREFORE they just found another way to impose their discrimination. They say its because teens are less experienced and cause more accidents, yet statistics also say that african-americans commit the most robberies per capita so does that necessarily make it ok to profile? NO but it happens regardless

Young peoples unfortunatly have more accidents because they don't have as much experience.

young folks are not mature enough to make proper choices. this makes them a liability.
