i wouldnt reccomend you let anyone drive your car cause i have yet to drive a car that is not mine in a normal
way if its not mine i drive it to its limits, why? who knows
and if i do it believe me others will to.

If you are driving with their permission, you are covered under both their insurance and your own insurance.
If you are not driving with permission, you are not covered.

california law will impound the car,you have to waste a few days at the court house,and it boring.
