If you've already been diagnosed with cancer and you're currently uninsured, you'll need to contact a variety of insurance companies to see if any will cover your existing condition.

If you don't have insurance already, you are in for a rude awakening. You'll be denied by any insurer for the pre-existing condition. YOu'll need to check to see if your state has a 'high-risk' pool and see if you can get coverage there. Since you usually need a denial to get in, you might as well just apply somewhere first and get the denial of coverage.
Since you are low income you might also quality for some sort of state sponsored medical assistance or Medicaid.
