Teenage Car Insurance?
Posted on Jun 24, 2008 under Insurance Information |What can we expect for a 16 year old having to pay on a monthly base if he has his OWN insurance (as in not co-insured with the parents). This would be in Texas.
I am pretty sure that there is a great difference. Just trying to familarize myself with the whole deal and trying to figure a ballpark amount. Any tips you might have are very much welcome. Thanks!!!

In michigan its anywhere from $500.00 to 600.00 every 6 months good luck

NO! Don't forget about it- that would just be stupid- try going to progressive.com they compare rates and show you all that crap

i pay 400.00 every 6 months i'm 17 and i live in las vegas. I use progressive i'm the lowest out of all my friends.

At least 30-50 dollars more than he would if he was on yours and had the multiple car discount. The actual price will vary depending on the year of the car and the amount of coverage.
Edit: looked at my car insurance and at age twenty two I save 70.00 dollars having the multiple car discount
