Can I have Free database of insurance providers in USA with their financial data for year 2004-05?

In this case i want to know the exact size of the industry in terms of number or companies, market size etc. Please guide or provide some important useful links so that i can use the database.

I am afraid you will be hard pressed to find such comprehensive and timely information for free. A.M. Best company does build such a database, but it is not available for free. In fact it is extremely expensive. It also is not overly quick. Insurance companies must file their financial statements by March 31 for the previous year so A.m. Best cannot start gathering info until then.
If you were at all interested in a more limited scope, I would advise that you contact the department of insurance for your states. That information must be filed with them and it is public record so you will be allowed to see it.
