How much to lease a car (WITH insurance)?
Posted on Jul 12, 2008 under Insurance Information |How much is it to lease an economic car (in Canada please), with insurance calculated into the mix? I am willing to pay 4-500 altogether, is this enough? Practical examples from people who lease their car, with how much they pay, etc, would be most helpful. (I am a recent graduate at the verge of starting an entry-level position). I am looking into VW golf and honda civic (hatchback).

I don't lease a car but wanted to respond on on the insurance portion - $100 USD per month may not be close to what you will need to spend. Insurance can vary greatly depending on where you live, your age, your driving record and the car you finally choose. I have friends that pay $1500 (CDN) and others that pay $8000. Your best bet is to shop around before making the final decision on your car if you are looking to keep on budget. There are good online insurance quoters - just do a search for 'car insurance canada' to find them.
