Cancelled health insurance policy after surgury question?
Posted on Jul 17, 2008 under Insurance Information |My fiance just had spinal surgury (disk fusion). His insurance company he's had for a year now, has just cancelled his health insurance but not before shouting preexisting condition. He heard this from the Neuromedial hospital when trying to get another CAT scan for checking up on the surgury.
Should we get a lawyer involved yet? Or should we wait it out for a more definite answer from the insurance company? I'd hate to just get married just so he'll have health insurance under my policy.

most policys will only not cover a pre existing condition for the first 6 months.You should be covered
