I was recently in an auto accident. I was not at fault and the other guy was cited. I carry full coverage insurance through safe auto. I contacted them and they said they were going to send an adjuster. I had asked the rep not the adjuster if they would tak into consideration my $1k custom wheels and she said they would not and if they find my vehicle totalled that i also would not be able to take them off. Is this right, even if i put regular steel wheels back on. Im afraid if i wait until the adjuster looks at it and ask him then it will be too late. The rep said no one would be able to tell me except the adjuster. Absolute craziness i say. I have to file with my insurance because it was an on duty city cop who hit me, so i have to file it with my insurance, another crazy part to this story. unbeeleevable
