insurance RIPOFF?

Posted on Nov 06, 2009 under Insurance Information |

I took out insurance on a mobile phone, 2 days ago it was stolen from a smoke room. I reported it to the pigs(another story) and contacted orange after explaining what happened i was informed that i was not covered for the lose and should pay £300 for a new phone. WHY do they say "Get insured" and then turn you down saying it should not have been left alone they will only pay if it is taken of my body, i will now cancell my direct debit and get legal advise, they picked the wrong slob to rip off. Has anyone else been ripped off by "ORANGE" or another phone company, they should not be allowed to get away with it. Im ashamed to be Human and so should they>

  1. Cell phone insurance is never a good deal. It’s so bad, it’s not even insurance.
In fact, the sellers don’t even need to be licensed to sell it.
That alone should tell you to be wary.
You should always pay with a credit card, not a debit card. That way you have a way to refuse the charge if they do something you feel rips you off.
