How pathetic of a country are we, that car insurance is mandatory, even criminal if we don't have it, yet health insurance is not? What does this say about us as a society?
Mary Jo, I guess what I'm trying to say, is that not enough people make enough money to afford both. They can find jobs, but none that carry health insurance. But for them to go to work, they have to pay car insurance.
That we as a society demand our vehicles have insurance instead of ourselves and our families, this is what I'm questioning for us as a country.
this was just on 60 Minutes on CBS: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/02/28/60minutes/main3889496.shtml

The mexican authorities require two certified (nortorized) copies of title or proof of ownership, two certified copies of the police report in english, two certified copies of the police report translated into spanish with the translator certifying that the report is a true and accurate translation.
The car is a 2002 BMW M3. I don't want the car back. I don't know how the car was driven and what damage that will come from it (clutch etc.) that the insurance company wont pay for.

Why do they need to know the passengers? I was in a car accident and they were asking for the passangers and where they lived. Does this help at all with the insurnace company to figure out things? I'm confused why they need to know who was in the car. help

I have four drivers in my family and at any time 3-4 cars. Is there an insurance policy that allows the drivers to be interchangeable?
Or is there a policy that doesnt depend on who's driving what car with just a standard rate? Ideally I'd like to nominate anyone to be able to drive any of the cars depending on the situation.
How do private car garages/dealers sort out their insurance? They have changing cars and drivers so it seems!
Thanks for any help!
b.t.w. yes I know about any driver insurance, but what if drivers are 19+ and that doesnt slve the any car problem, anyone with a complete option?

A family member is in the process of a settlement, because of the doctor's mistake during surgery. She also had a corrective surgery following. Someone told her, that after the settlement, the doctor's office will notify her insurance company that they had to pay her money, and that the insurance company will come after her to get their money. Is any of this true?

I live in Seattle and I am looking for renters insurance that not only covers the basics, but the unusual such as unintentional unemployment, flood, zombie attack, whatever. Its nearly impossible to find out what's unavailable without giving someone a phone number. Any suggestions?
