Okay here it goes..About 4 months ago I was pulled over driving my borthers car to visit my family. I was pulled over by a Salt Lake City Police Officer, he stated that the car had no insurance, I told him it was my brothers car and I was not sure if it did. Well he told me that it didn't. Wich it truly didn't. I got a $640 ticket! witch I am making monthly payment on..sigh..Well this is the scary part. I barely gradated with my associates degree and am planning on applying for a Armored Car Driver. They state that applicants must have a clean driving record. My co-workers said that I'm screwed because the State of Utah requires people who get pulled over with this offense to have SR22 Insurance for 7 years! Wich would disqualify me from the job! Is this true? 1 ticket and 7 years of SR22 Insurance?? I've looked on our State Website, but is impossilble to find…My question is this..DO I HAVE TO HAVE SR22 INSURANCE FOR THE NEXT 7 YEARS? DOES THAT QUALIFY AS NO GOOD DRIVING RECORD???

I have been having issues since I was 15 with "girly" stuff. I have Poly-cystic ovarian disease, HPV that I have had removed 3 times, severe endemetriosis, plus major scar tissue from ruptured cysts ovarian and uteran. I have actually scheduled to have a hysterectomy and then insurance denied the claim saying that I was too young and it was considered elective. My doctor called them and they told him the same thing even though he said this is my only choice to ever be free of pain, children, (considering my risk of not being able to conceive a child and if I do it will likely kill me or the baby) and being free of likely having Ovarian cancer or Uteran cancer. Can Insurance actually deny my claim even though the doctor says this NEEDS to be done ASAP? Especially in my policy where it says "-Sterilization, regardless of medical necessity."
Also, I have talked to my doctor and he is actually taking my case to the state medical board to try to convince them at the very least to make insurance pay for tubal ligation and the necessary rx to reduce as much pain as possible untill the hysterectomy actually becomes an "option".
Answers anyone??? 24 hours and only one answer??? Thoughts????

I was hit in my car the other day by a guy at fault. His insurance was All State. I was the only injured party. Can I just settle quickly with All State Insurance and get this over with? I have one more doc appt and that's it, I hope.

If an electrician (or plumber or any other professional) comes to my home and injures himself (in the case of an electrician, he electricutes himself) do I have any liability? Does it matter if he's a licensed professional or not? What if he damages my home - like a ladder falls and breaks a window? When an electrician says he's "insured" does it mean he's covered for damage to my home or damage to himself? Or both? Thanks to all who can provide some answers!

My mom bought life insurance on me for a $21,000 benefit upon death. My mother and I no longer are on the best of terms. I was only 17 at the time, and now it's been two years since the policy was bought. It is paid up, I receive letters in the mail confirming my recent address changes, and I was wondering if she is the only person who can receive the money when I pass. I am married, and since my mother and I don't get along, she also doesn't like my husband. I know she wouldn't try to have me killed to have the insurance money, but am I able to cancel the life insurance policy? I don't think it is right for her to be able to collect on a child she wants nothing to do with anyways. Also, the policy has a cash value. If it is cancelled, will they mail her a check or something? I'm so young and clueless about this. Please help!
